About the Role:
We are seeking 2 friendly and engaging Personal Assistants to provide 2:1 support to two brothers aged 10 and 8, residing in the HU4 area. The older brother has autism and learning disabilities, requiring dedicated support in various activities. The assistants will need to ensure safety, engage the boys in planned activities, and assist with personal care as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2:1 support to two brothers with autism and learning disabilities.
- Engage boys in planned activities (swimming, bowling, park, etc.).
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
- Assist with personal care (if required).
- Maintain detailed records of activities and progress.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience working with children with special needs (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and reassuring in challenging situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of child development and safety measures.
