About the Role:
Join Quarriers, a dedicated support team in Greenock, Inverclyde, providing part-time, permanent support to adults with physical or learning disabilities at Westview Care Home and The Coach House. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive environment where individuals can live full and happy lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and community-based support to residents.
- Identify and respond effectively to emotional support needs.
- Maintain detailed care planning records.
- Work across both Westview Care Home and The Coach House, as required.
- Work flexible shifts, including early, late, weekend, and sleepover shifts (paid at 12.00 per hour).
Skills and Expertise:
- Compassionate and understanding approach to care.
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document care.
- Experience with adults with disabilities (preferred).
- Problem-solving skills to ensure positive outcomes.
- Confident working with individuals on a one-to-one basis.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Motivation and enthusiasm.
