About the Role:
Join Quarriers Finnart Street as a part-time Support Worker in Greenock, supporting individuals with epilepsy and/or learning disabilities. This role offers a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of those in care and build strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to individuals with epilepsy and/or learning disabilities.
- Help individuals achieve their goals and ambitions.
- Establish trust and implement person-centred support.
- Work flexible shifts to meet individual needs (early, late, weekend, sleepover).
- Record care planning accurately.
- Effectively manage and respond to individuals’ emotional support needs.
- Work under pressure, with compassion, understanding, and confidence.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Expertise:
- Compassionate and understanding nature.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Confidence working 1:1 and in community settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on positive outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in adult care or supported living (preferred).
