About the Role:
Hays is recruiting a full-time Gluer Machine Operator for a client in the Medway Towns area. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality cartons using various equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce finished cartons of various styles and materials efficiently and to high quality standards.
- Conduct general machine maintenance.
- Set up and operate straight line glue jobs and crash lock boxes.
- Meet daily production targets.
- Ensure quality control of all produced cartons.
- Communicate consumable stock requirements to the team leader.
- Monitor machine packers and ensure proper adherence to duties.
- Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience with gluer machines and carton production.
- Strong teamwork and partnership abilities.
- Excellent initiative and flexibility.
- Proactive knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary of 30,000 – 35,000 (dependent on experience)
- Alternating weekly shifts: 6am – 1:30pm & 1:30pm – 9pm. Initial training period involves double days.
