About the Role:
This exciting role as a Field Interviewer will involve conducting official surveys to gather data for government reporting. You will have the opportunity to contribute to important research on the UK economy, population, and various societal indicators, and work with a diverse group of people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit sampled addresses to encourage survey completion.
- Interview respondents in their homes.
- Plan, organise, and manage own workload with support provided.
- Ensure interviews are conducted between 09:00 20:00, split evenly across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
- Work Monday to Saturday with flexibility as needed.
- Transport and carry equipment (laptop, survey materials).
- Navigate to addresses and use stairs.
Skills and Expertise:
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence to approach and converse with a wide range of people.
- Experience using laptops and smartphones.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
