About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support young people in a residential service in Stourbridge. This role demands a dedicated and passionate individual to make a positive impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
- Provide advice, assistance, and support to children and young people.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering their potential.
- Support children/young people with challenging behaviour, employing de-escalation techniques.
- Ensure each child/young person’s care plan is followed and adapted as needed.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Work.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to work with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- DBS update service (essential).
