About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team in a luxury care home. This essential role plays a vital part in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all laundry operations.
- Process laundry according to established procedures and hygiene guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry for residents.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry items.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
Skills and Expertise:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with commercial laundry equipment and processes (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High level of hygiene awareness.
