About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Curriculum Leader for Mathematics to join our school teaching team. This exciting role offers a chance to make a significant contribution to student development and create high expectations within the department. The successful candidate will be teaching students in KS3, KS4 and A Level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the mathematics curriculum to meet national standards.
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students across KS3, KS4 and A Level.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
  • Support and mentor colleagues within the mathematics department.
  • Monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and evaluation.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Honours Degree
  • DfE recognised Qualified Teacher Status
  • Proven ability to teach mathematics at KS3, KS4 and A Level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
