About the Role:
BaxterStorey is seeking a passionate and ambitious Sous Chef to join their dynamic team in Greater London. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to elevate their career and contribute to a vibrant culinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage assigned station production, maintaining supplies and cleanliness.
- Ensure high-quality standards for all dishes, focusing on presentation and taste.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, offering assistance when needed.
- Develop and test new recipes in collaboration with the head chef.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven Sous Chef experience (or similar).
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
