About the Role:

Serco is seeking a dedicated Data Administrator Apprentice to join our Restart Scheme team in West Bromwich. This role provides essential administrative and organizational support to the team, as well as direct support to Restart participants and employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process referral, program start, and payment data via the PRaP system.
  • Transfer data between Serco systems and PRaP, maintaining data integrity.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data processing errors, escalating issues to the Data Team Leader as needed.
  • Complete quality and compliance testing on key program milestones.
  • Support the Quality and Compliance Team in maintaining contract compliance.

Skills and Expertise:

  • 5 GCSEs (A-C).
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office 365.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple work streams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via various media.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to input data accurately and at speed.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • (Desirable) Understanding of DWP/welfare to work market environment.
  • (Desirable) Experience of working in a compliance environment, ideally within the Employability sector.
  • (Desirable) Experience with CRM-based systems.
