About the Role:
Join a supportive and dynamic Occupational Therapy team at Northwick Park Hospital, Ealing Hospital, and Central Middlesex Hospital in London. This Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant position offers excellent learning and development opportunities while working with skilled medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality occupational therapy services under the guidance of qualified therapists.
- Assess, treat, and participate in discharge planning for patients on acute wards.
- Promote patient function and independence in occupational performance areas.
- Collaborate with ward therapy staff and the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Support staff absences and service needs in other areas, as required.
- Receive formal supervision from a Senior OT.
- Attend in-service training and team meetings.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience or demonstrable interest in Occupational Therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a large team.
- Enthusiastic and hard-working approach.
- Passion for patient care.
