About the Role:
This role leads a team of resourcing advisors, ensuring high-quality resourcing services for UK recruitment and onboarding. The successful candidate will build team capability and enhance hiring manager skills within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Resourcing Operations team, setting priorities and workloads.
- Develop and coach the Resourcing Advisors to establish a Centre of Excellence and enhance hiring manager capability.
- Manage team performance, including addressing poor performance and supporting personal development.
- Manage team communication channels, ensuring prompt responses to stakeholders.
- Monitor and mitigate potential risks, escalating complaints as needed.
- Analyze recruitment data to forecast workload and plan for future recruitment needs.
- Ensure compliance with Civil Service recruitment principles, nationality rules, and right-to-work legislation.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, collaborating with strategic partners to enhance processes and empower hiring managers.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, security teams, and government agencies.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Expertise in UK recruitment processes and compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant Civil Service regulations.
