About the Role:

Lead a policy team delivering groundbreaking reforms under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. Design and deliver landmark policies, leading a team to achieve ambitious goals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver effective policies, ensuring successful operational delivery at Companies House.
  • Engage with Companies House, lawyers, analysts, stakeholders, company law experts, and other government departments.
  • Build strong relationships with Companies House, ministers, external stakeholders, and across Whitehall.
  • Manage public, political, and departmental interest through strong communication and relationship management.
  • Take an active role in the leadership of the wider team and directorate.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong experience in policy development within government.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including to ministers.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement experience.
  • Experience with primary and secondary legislation.
