About the Role:
Lead a policy team delivering groundbreaking reforms under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. Design and deliver landmark policies, leading a team to achieve ambitious goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver effective policies, ensuring successful operational delivery at Companies House.
- Engage with Companies House, lawyers, analysts, stakeholders, company law experts, and other government departments.
- Build strong relationships with Companies House, ministers, external stakeholders, and across Whitehall.
- Manage public, political, and departmental interest through strong communication and relationship management.
- Take an active role in the leadership of the wider team and directorate.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong experience in policy development within government.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including to ministers.
- Stakeholder management and engagement experience.
- Experience with primary and secondary legislation.
