About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Essex. This full-time position, working day shifts (7am-7pm), requires flexibility and a genuine commitment to providing exceptional care to our residents. You will play a vital role in enhancing their well-being and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including assisting with washing, dressing, and mealtimes.
  • Support residents with their physical and emotional needs.
  • Engage residents in activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Monitor residents’ health and report any concerns to the Registered Nurse.
  • Uphold the highest standards of care and safety, recognizing signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
  • Attend and actively participate in mandatory safeguarding and relevant training.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in providing care for elderly or vulnerable individuals (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
