About the Role:

This full-time Senior Care Assistant position requires flexibility and works DAY shifts (7am – 7pm) at HC One. As a key member of our care team, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to residents, fostering a sense of security and independence. You’ll lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining high standards and shaping the care provided to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring quality care and adherence to standards.
  • Assist Registered Nurses and Care Managers in providing physical and mental stimulation through activities.
  • Administer medication as directed.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Level 2 Diploma or equivalent in Adult Care.
  • Experience with person-centred care planning.
  • Knowledge of dementia care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Positive attitude and empathy.
