About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to lead a team in a purpose-built care home. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents with residential and dementia needs, and will play a vital role in creating a positive environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care.
- Support residents with personal care needs and facilitate activities promoting health and wellbeing.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Skills and Expertise:
- QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3).
- Passion for caring for older people.
- Previous care experience preferred.
- Experience leading, coaching, and motivating a care team.
- Kind, warm, and caring nature with strong communication and listening skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and lead by example.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 12.75 per hour (or 21,879 per annum).
- Full-time (33 hours per week), night shifts.
