About the Role:
Academic Appointments are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team in a Bradford primary school. This full-time, fixed-term role starts in January 2025 and runs until December 2025. The successful candidate will deliver an engaging curriculum, fostering academic and personal growth in their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality KS2 lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment promoting student engagement and progress.
- Assess, track, and record student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to implement school-wide initiatives.
- Uphold school policies and foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and resilience.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school, ideally KS2.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
