About the Role:
Herts at Home is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support older adults in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will provide person-centered care, following care plans and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to older people according to their care plans.
- Adhere to risk assessments and implement appropriate moving and assisting techniques.
- Support individuals in expressing their choices, promoting independence, and making informed care decisions.
- Offer emotional support and create a positive care environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- Caring, responsible, empathetic, and understanding attitude.
- Proven ability to work with vulnerable adults and diverse needs.
- Proactive approach to delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable assisting with personal care (training provided).
- Experience in care is beneficial but not essential.
