About the Role:
This rotational physiotherapy role at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across various specialities and prepare for advanced roles. The 7-monthly rotation will expose you to a diverse range of patients and settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality physiotherapy care in diverse settings, including medical, surgical wards, and intensive care units.
- Participate in the rotational scheme, working across different specialities like medicine, oncology, neurosciences, rehabilitation, surgery, perioperative, orthopaedics, outpatients, paediatrics, and care of the older person.
- Develop supervisory, teaching, and management skills.
- Prioritize, audit, and manage patient care effectively.
- Contribute to service development initiatives.
Skills and Expertise:
- Band 6 Physiotherapist qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in diverse physiotherapy settings (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritisation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
