About the Role:
Jewson Inverness is seeking a dedicated Trade Counter Sales Assistant to play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the branch. This vital position requires strong customer interaction skills and a commitment to accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with customers face-to-face at the counter.
- Preparing customer orders accurately.
- Managing customer calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Checking incoming deliveries and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining warehouse stock levels.
- Conducting regular stock counts.
- Prioritizing health and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify process improvements.
- Supporting deliveries to client sites as needed.
Skills and Expertise:
- 1+ years of Trade Counter Sales experience in building materials supply.
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
- Strong organizational skills and prioritization abilities.
- Health and safety awareness.
