About the Role:
Become a Registered Paediatric Nurse at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, providing urgent care and support to children and their families in a fast-paced A&E environment. Utilize specialized skills to make a significant difference in the lives of young patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Paediatric Lead.
- Work with patients’ families and carers to discuss patient care and condition.
- Display analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations.
- Check and utilize specialized equipment (monitors, ventilators).
Skills and Expertise:
- Minimum 6 months paid paediatric hospital experience in the last 3 years.
- Current NMC Professional Registration.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices.
- Paediatric Nursing Degree.
- Variable additional certification and skills may be required.
