About the Role:
This Consultant Psychiatrist position within the Home Treatment and Crisis Team will contribute to comprehensive patient care, offering a specialized approach to treatment and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to patients experiencing mental health crises.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals and social workers.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of patient progress.
- Manage and coordinate patient care across multiple settings, including home, hospital, and community.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in providing psychiatric care, with proven success in managing complex cases.
- Strong understanding of psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing person-centred, holistic patient care.
- Registration with the GMC (General Medical Council).
