About the Role:

Join our renal care team as a Healthcare Assistant in Blackburn and make a meaningful impact on the lives of dialysis patients. You will provide exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, contributing to improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain clean equipment following proper training.
  • Prepare supplies and packs for treatment.
  • Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
  • Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas.
  • Serve refreshments during treatments.

Skills and Expertise:

  • GCSE level or equivalent education.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health or Social Care (or equivalent, preferably working towards level 3).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (ideal).
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluent in English.

Job Facilities/Benefits:

  • Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
  • Monday to Saturday, 6:30am to 11:30pm (no nights or Sundays).
  • Competitive salary up to 23,532 (depending on experience).
