Iraq based FPS: The battle for Falujah

Six Days in Fallujah

In a move that could be considered in poor taste, Konami has decided to create a “realistic” game about a recent historical event, the battles that took place in 2004 between US forces and insurgents (The U.S. military called it “some of the heaviest urban combat U.S. Marines have been involved in since the Battle of Hue City in Vietnam.”). The game is apparently attempting to make realism in war still be fun.

One wonders if you can shoot civillians realistically, and if that’s part of the fun. After all most wargames shy away from that kind of realism so you have to wonder exactly what they mean by realism.

Well I’m sure we’ll soon find out.
