About the Role:
Hays is partnering with a respected Fife-based client to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and accurate processing of high-volume invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices (high volume).
- Managing payment runs on a weekly basis.
- Posting journals.
- Using bespoke finance software and Microsoft Excel for accurate data processing.
Skills and Expertise:
- Recent experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strong administrative skills.
- Understanding of Accounts Payable processes and high-volume purchase ledger invoice processing.
- Proficiency in using online systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to adapt to various online systems and confidently navigate Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills for managing a demanding workload and meeting strict deadlines.
