About the Role:

Pearson Primary School in Kingston upon Hull is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Achievement Support Assistant to join their team. This role focuses on providing targeted support to children in the Early Years and across other year groups, supporting their learning and development. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with learning and development needs, offering targeted interventions and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a coordinated approach to student support.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of lesson activities aligned with school goals.
  • Provide targeted interventions in line with the needs of the school.
  • Work within the Early Years Foundations Stage and across year groups.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Relevant qualifications in early years education, in accordance with CWDC requirements.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
