About the Role:

Support the Home Manager with a range of administrative and reception tasks, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff in Gloucestershire care homes. You’ll manage enquiries, maintain infection control procedures, and coordinate administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager with reception, administrative, and basic finance activities.
  • Ensure all visitors follow infection control procedures and coordinate testing requirements.
  • Organize couriers and associated administrative tasks.
  • Assist with planning and management of home events, including celebrating milestones.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience handling cash and maintaining reports.
  • Understanding of elderly care and ability to relate to residents with care and sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Efficient and organized with the ability to use initiative.
  • GCSE level English and Maths (desired).
