About the Role:
Support the Home Manager with a range of administrative and reception tasks, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff in Gloucestershire care homes. You’ll manage enquiries, maintain infection control procedures, and coordinate administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager with reception, administrative, and basic finance activities.
- Ensure all visitors follow infection control procedures and coordinate testing requirements.
- Organize couriers and associated administrative tasks.
- Assist with planning and management of home events, including celebrating milestones.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience in an administrative or reception role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience handling cash and maintaining reports.
- Understanding of elderly care and ability to relate to residents with care and sensitivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Efficient and organized with the ability to use initiative.
- GCSE level English and Maths (desired).
