About the Role:
This role encompasses the independent management of a caseload, including assessments and treatment interventions, supervision of junior staff, and support for the Lead OT in project management and service development. The role primarily focuses on inpatient care with a caseload of PICU, cardiac, and NICU patients. Outpatient care will involve neurorehab, Autism, learning difficulties, sensory processing, developmental delay, and seating assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of patients.
- Conduct best practice assessments and treatment interventions.
- Supervise junior staff.
- Support the Lead OT in project management and service development.
Skills and Expertise:
- Advanced Occupational Therapy skills.
- Experience in paediatric care (PICU, cardiac, NICU).
- Experience in neurorehab, Autism, learning difficulties, sensory processing, and developmental delay.
- Excellent assessment and treatment skills.
- Supervisory experience.
- Project management skills.
