About the Role:
As an Analytical Engineer, you will build and manage a Snowflake ecosystem for streaming and batch workflows, empowering end-user teams to leverage data, build reports, and automate tasks. This role is crucial in supporting our ambitious goals by driving innovation in data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a Snowflake ecosystem for streaming and batch workflows.
- Automate data processes and ensure observability, adhering to platform standards.
- Guide users on SQL and Python best practices for Snowflake.
- Recommend and implement data structure and layout improvements for enhanced performance and throughput.
- Support the adoption of generative AI tools and techniques within Snowflake and Microsoft ecosystems, leading platform innovation.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong experience with Snowflake (SQL scripting, DDL, DML, task orchestration, and integration management).
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps (ETL orchestration, Git integration, CI/CD).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban/BDD/TDD).
- Proven ability to solve complex data problems accurately.
- Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience with insurance data (preferred).
