About the Role:
Join a growing team of secure communication systems specialists in Leominster as an Antenna Design Engineer. This role involves developing innovative antenna designs, optimizing performance using 3D EM simulation software, and contributing to prototype development and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with mechanical and electronic engineers to develop innovative antenna designs.
- Utilize 3D EM simulation software (e.g., CST Microwave Studio) to optimize antenna performance.
- Assist with prototype development, assembly, and testing.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, sales, procurement, and production teams.
- Participate in design reviews and lead discussions on technical aspects, if required.
- Manage engineering change notes, adhering to ISO 9001 procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project and design documentation.
- Provide concise management information on design developments.
- Uphold company health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in antenna design for various applications.
- Expertise in electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., CST Microwave Studio).
- Hands-on experience with antenna radiation pattern measurements.
- Proficiency in Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and other antenna test equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
