About the Role:
Lead the excellence of a specialized group of nurseries, driving continuous improvement and quality of early years education. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and foster a positive, supportive culture aligned with Ark Start’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement across assigned nursery areas.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Ofsted readiness.
- Lead safeguarding as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Act as Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), ensuring inclusive practices.
- Support nursery managers in professional development and tailored approach to nursery needs.
- Oversee operational excellence and quality assurance.
- Coach and develop staff to enhance nursery success.
- Build and nurture partnerships within the community to drive nursery success.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven leadership experience in early years education.
- Deep understanding of safeguarding and SEN procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent relationship building abilities.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
