About the Role:

This Assistant Administration Manager role offers a varied position providing administrative and financial support to Social Care and Family Support Practitioners. You’ll supervise a small team and contribute to the management of the wider team across offices in the North and East Ipswich and Coastal locality. The role is based in the Leiston office and will involve interacting with staff across the locality, supporting them with administrative procedures, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a small team of Administrators.
  • Providing administrative and financial support to Practitioners.
  • Managing workloads and ensuring tasks are completed to standard and on time.
  • Offering advice and guidance to staff on administrative procedures.
  • Monitoring workloads and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Handling office and premises-related queries.
  • Contributing to the overall management of the wider team across the Felixstowe and Ipswich offices.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Good working knowledge of budget administration and financial policies/procedures.
  • Experience managing/supervising staff.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
