About the Role:
The Best Connection are seeking an Assistant Engineer to join a small, family-run business in Goole. This initial temporary position offers a potential permanent role following a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work primarily in Goole, with flexibility to travel to customer sites for installations and maintenance.
- Utilize SolidWorks and hand/power tools in engineering projects.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Learn and progress within the business.
Skills and Expertise:
- Computer literacy, including experience with SolidWorks (preferred).
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Desire for a long-term, secure position.
- Willingness to learn and progress.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 37 hours per week.
- 25,000 starting salary.
- 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-1pm Friday.
- Training and development opportunities.
- 28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata).
- Permanent position following successful trial.
