About the Role:

Join the leadership team at a growing high school as an Assistant Principal for Behaviour and Attitudes. You will play a crucial role in shaping school culture and student success, working closely with the Principal and Vice Principals to improve academic outcomes and a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead middle leaders and pastoral staff to cultivate a positive school culture.
  • Contribute to developing high-quality teaching practices and assessment strategies.
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches to inspire and support staff development.
  • Lead initiatives promoting positive behaviour and attitudes, fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proven leadership skills with coaching and mentoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate staff and students.
  • Passion for improving educational outcomes and creating positive school culture.
  • Understanding of current educational research and theories.
