About the Role:
Join a leading fit-out and refurbishment contractor with over 50 years of experience. This role focuses on creating detailed technical drawings for joinery projects, working closely with various teams and clients to ensure quality and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications for joinery projects.
- Collaborate with workshop managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design practicality.
- Review architectural drawings and provide input on joinery aspects.
- Ensure drawings comply with building regulations, health and safety requirements, and project standards.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate material representation.
- Attend project sites for surveys, design reviews, and implementation oversight.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven AutoCAD experience, specializing in joinery design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical drawing precision.
- Knowledge of construction and joinery processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Relevant qualifications in architectural design, joinery, or a related field.
