About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity awaits a Graduate Building Surveyor to join a fast-growing technical services division. This role provides a pathway to chartered membership of the RICS and offers an unparalleled work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake various building surveying services, including dilapidation reports, condition surveys, and valuations.
- Prepare and draft reports outlining proposals and results.
- Assist with project procurement, delivery, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Implement policies, strategies, and standards for development and disposal opportunities.
- Ensure property information is gathered and maintained for accurate records and reports.
- Contribute to developing and implementing an asset management rating system and plan.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety and risk management procedures.
Skills and Expertise:
- Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor with aspirations to achieve MRICS designation.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly.
- (Beneficial) Prior experience with public sector procurement.
