About the Role:

This Business Architect role offers a unique opportunity to define and implement the intentional architecture for a key scope within the bank, ensuring alignment with the enterprise strategy. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to develop an operating model that supports the bank’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, create, and maintain business architecture models, roadmaps, and outcomes.
  • Analyze business strategy and market trends to identify future business capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into actionable business and customer outcomes.
  • Gain agreement and buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate business design with platform teams.
  • Influence the development of business strategies, identifying opportunities for transformation.
  • Assess portfolio and product backlogs to ensure alignment with business strategies.
  • Leverage financial services knowledge and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Research and stay updated on industry best practices, technology, and customer trends.
  • Maintain a comprehensive repository of business architecture models, capability models, roadmaps, standards, and outcomes.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience defining capabilities and roadmaps for complex enterprises.
  • Background working with business and technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of industry capability frameworks, including Agile P3M.
  • Experience defining, measuring, and articulating business capabilities.
  • Proven ability to develop, communicate, and gain consensus on architectures, designs, and proposals.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
