About the Role:
Supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence and live at home, Helping Hands is seeking passionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Blackburn with Darwen. This role is for individuals who are committed to providing compassionate care and helping others thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and support with daily tasks.
- Assisting with personal care, including showering, bathing, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility and movement within the home environment.
- Administering medication and providing medical support under guidance.
- Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying.
- Running errands, such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Kindness, empathy, and compassion towards others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends).
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
