About the Role:

Hamberley Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Newton House Care Home in East Renfrewshire. As a Homemaker, you will provide personalized care and support to residents, fostering a warm and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents, adapting care to individual needs.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive resident care plans are implemented and monitored.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Compassionate and caring nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with elderly care (preferred, but not essential).
  • Knowledge of relevant care policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, on a rota basis.
