About the Role:
Join HC-One’s compassionate team of Care Assistants in Glasgow and make a positive impact on the lives of residents. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents in our care homes, including assistance with personal care, meals, and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
- Assist residents with their physical and emotional well-being.
- Support residents with their social needs and encourage participation in activities.
- Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes to the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, recognizing and reporting potential safeguarding concerns.
- Attend safeguarding training and associated training as required.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in providing care for vulnerable individuals (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with residents.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Understanding of dementia care and other related care environments (desirable).
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
