About the Role:
Helping Hands is seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team of dedicated Care Assistants in Kensington. This role focuses on supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, bathing, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and movement around the home environment.
- Oversee and administer medication as directed.
- Assist with household tasks including cleaning, cooking, and tidying.
- Run errands like grocery shopping and prescription pickups.
Skills and Expertise:
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Ability to adapt to diverse needs and situations.
- Experience in care (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Paid mileage (35p per mile).
