About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at Digby Court Care Home in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Your role will involve providing compassionate care and support to residents, enhancing their daily lives and creating a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily routines and personal care (e.g., washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting).
  • Ensure resident safety and well-being by monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes to the relevant staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and families, maintaining a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
  • Assist with medication administration as per procedures.
  • Document care provided accurately and promptly.
  • Contribute to the overall care planning process.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in care or related fields is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with residents and their families.
  • Patience and compassion in challenging situations.
  • Understanding of care home procedures.
  • Valid UK qualifications if applicable.
