About the Role:
At Maria Mallaband Care Group, were seeking passionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents in Norfolk. Youll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those under our care, supporting their physical, psychological, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor residents health and well-being, reporting any changes to designated staff.
- Support residents with daily activities and encourage their independence.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
- Collaborate effectively with other care staff and healthcare professionals.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in providing care assistance (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
- Good physical stamina and strength.
- Knowledge of relevant care policies and procedures.
