About the Role:
At Maria Mallaband Care Group, were seeking passionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in North Yorkshire. This role is focused on providing exceptional care to residents and enhancing their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including washing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support residents with their daily activities and needs.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for residents.
- Document resident care and progress.
- Collaborate effectively with other care staff and colleagues.
- Communicate with residents and families effectively.
- Assist in implementing and evaluating care plans for residents.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a positive, supportive, and caring atmosphere for all.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and caring nature.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Experience working with elderly individuals or people with disabilities (preferred).
- Relevant training or certification (preferred).
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
