About the Role:
Be a Homemaker at Templeton Place Care Home, a luxury care home in Southampton, supporting residents with compassionate care in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised care and support to residents, adapting to their needs.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, meals, and mobility.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, documenting any changes.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other care team members.
- Collaborate with the wider care team to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Participate in care planning and team meetings.
Skills and Expertise:
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving.
- Experience in a healthcare or care-related setting (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in care settings.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Understanding of dementia care (an advantage).
