About the Role:

Provide compassionate care to residents in a residential care home. Offer support and enhance the well-being of our residents in a dementia, nursing, residential or specialist care setting. This role demands both physical and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care activities, including washing, dressing, and hygiene.
  • Assist residents with meals and feeding.
  • Support residents with their emotional needs, ensuring their dignity and individuality are maintained.
  • Participate in general activities within the care home.
  • Report any concerns or potential signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
  • Comply with all safeguarding procedures and training requirements.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Empathy and compassion towards residents.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and understanding.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move residents when required.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
