About the Role:
Helping Hands is seeking passionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Sunderland, providing compassionate support to adults of all ages. This role focuses on empowering individuals to maintain their independence and remain in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with personal care (e.g., showering, bathing, toileting).
- Supporting mobility and movement around the home.
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support.
- Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying.
- Running errands, such as grocery shopping or collecting prescriptions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Kind and compassionate nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Paid mileage (35p per mile).
