About the Role:
We are looking for passionate care assistants to join our team in York, providing support to adults of all ages to maintain their independence at home. This role is vital in helping individuals live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with personal care, including showering, bathing, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility around the home.
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support.
- Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and tidying.
- Running errands, including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Kindness and empathy.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting individuals with personal care (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Paid mileage (35p per mile between calls).
