About the Role:

As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality care within a Barchester care home. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll lead and manage various aspects of the care home, ensuring adherence to standards and promoting resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Ensure care standards are maintained and regulatory compliance is met.
  • Lead and motivate the multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitor and audit care standards, supervise clinical practice.
  • Develop and deliver strategies to achieve care goals.
  • Manage safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
  • Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification.
  • Experience working with residents with diverse health needs.
  • Experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
  • HR experience.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing.
  • Understanding of budget management.
  • Experience in supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care.
