About the Role:

As a Care Home Manager at HC-One, you’ll provide exceptional care and support to residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your leadership will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the care home, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a care team.
  • Deliver clinical guidance and training to the team.
  • Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies, and legislation.
  • Promote resident independence, choice, dignity, and respect through best practice care.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in care standards.
  • Take responsibility for the well-being of residents, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN.
  • Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or willingness to study for one.
  • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and escalate concerns appropriately.
